Many women over 40 say they don’t want to date older men. These women feel youthful and energetic, and they believe many older men are not. Here’s the thing: You don’t have to date older men. You can date whoever you want. I just don’t want you to discount ALL older men, because you may be missing out on a wonderful silver fox!

In this video, you’ll learn why it’s okay to date older or younger men, and why many younger men want to date older women.

Why Should I Date Older Men?

Nobody can dictate who you date. That decision is entirely up to you. If you don’t want to date older men, you don’t have to. But, you might be eliminating a fantastic guy. I encourage you to be open about age, height, distance, and anything else that you can be flexible on.

Why are younger men attracted to older women?

Many younger men are attracted to older women, because as women age, they’re often more confident and authentic than their younger counterparts. A more mature woman focuses less on trying to win a man over through manipulation. She wants an energetic man who can keep up with her. She wants to enjoy the company of a man who’s sexy, fun, smart, kind and grounded. 

Why men don’t get judged when they date younger women

It’s much more common for men to date much younger women with very little judgment from others. In fact, it’s almost expected, especially in midlife as men look for ‘arm candy’ to feel younger and more vibrant as they begin to feel the affects of aging. 

When women date much younger men, there’s much more judgment. Who wants to be criticized for their romantic choices? It’s not a fair game. Another issue is that many women think younger men are only after sex or money, and those beliefs can keep them from exploring a relationship with a wonderful younger man.

Advantages of dating a younger man

Younger men often have more energy, more sexual stamina, less erectile dysfunction, and less baggage. Those are some of the reasons why older women are attracted to them. But, there are just as many younger men who lack confidence or haven’t yet figured out who they are. Younger is not necessarily better. There are plenty of older men who are energetic, have gone through therapy, and know who they are. They’re looking for an incredible woman who’s their age, someone they have a lot in common with.

What I recommend…

You’ll have the most success if you don’t limit yourself to dating men who are younger, live within a 20 mile radius, or are over 6 feet tall. Look for the qualities in a man that would make him a good partner. Age is just a number, but character knows no age!
