EP 533: Gillian Harper – The Importance of Polarity in Relationships

What is the Law of Polarity?

It’s a natural law that says people with opposite sexual energy create a powerful force. The further apart we are in our energy, the better the relationship passion. The Dragon is yang or masculine/doing energy. Yin is Tiger or feminine energy which is craving connection.

Why is Polarity important in relationships?

It creates passion in a relationship. We need more than friendship to make a relationship work.

How can people go deeper into their Dragon (masculine) energy?

Dragon energy is Doing energy: I will be happy when I’m finally free. Comes from respect from self and partner. Do things that take you deeper and align with your purpose and daily decision making. Trust yourself. Go deeper in being aligned and consistent.

How can people go deeper into their Tiger (feminine) energy?

Women tend to be in their Dragon energy when they’re parenting or working. When we’re away from work, how do we feel?

A Tiger is wild and already free, untethered. Mantra is I’ll be happy when I’m truly loved and seen. I want to give all of this love to you. To go deeper, realize the love already available to us, let go, and find the place of surrender to find our pleasure. Let go and live in your freedom.

How can people use Polarity to improve passion with their partner?

Whether you’re just starting a relationship or in a long term relationship, you can reignite the spark. Understand where your dominant energy is. Is it more about doing or being? Where is your happy place? Learn to lean into that energy more.

What are your final words of advice for anyone who wants to go on their last first date?

Do your own personal work before going on a date. Where is your energy? What are you craving? Connection, love, freedom, purpose, respect? Be true to that energy in your dating. Practice being in your energy. Let go if you’re in Tiger energy. If you’re in Dragon, practice making decisions. Be conscious and clear about what will bring you happiness and passion.
